Borrisokane CC cadet boys basketball team played Thurles Tuesday 11th of October. They started poorly and nothing would go their way in this game. Despite a comeback in the last quarter , the game was too far out of reach to salvage.
The Senior boys basketball team played after this match. They started well and gained a good lead in the first quarter. Thurles came back into the game in the second quarter and there was little separating the sides at half time. The second half proved a very exciting one. Borrisokane just keeping their noses ahead . The boys to their credit finished well and held onto their lead winning on a scoreline of 20-16.
