Timetable for Literacy Week October 1st to October 5th 2018.

Monday:	Literacy initiatives displayed on the school website. Launch the “Guess the Teacher” competition and encourage pupils to take part. (The winner will receive a €30 one-for-all voucher) Library will be open at lunchtime 1^st Year Reading Challenge will get underway and pupils will be given all information-A cinema trip will take place at Christmas for pupils who take part.
Tuesday	Library will be open for all students TY noticeboards will be unveiled with book recommendations and book reviews. Book Of The Week Posters-Outside the music room pupils will find information on recommended novels/books they may be interested in.
Wednesday	Library will be open for all pupils and board games will be available there at lunchtime Announcement: Reminder to pupils to bring reading material for D.E.A.R tomorrow.
Thursday	D.E.A.R last 20 mins of class 4 2^nd year Movie –Period 5 and 6 Demo Room Library will be open for all students
Friday	3^rd Year Poetry Workshop in Dromineer 9:30-11:30-Pupils should be back in class 4. 5^th Year Guest Speaker:Brendan Cummins-Period 4(Room 508-509) 6^th Year writing workshop: Ré Ó Laighleis-Period 4 & 5(Room 219-220) Library will be open for all students
