Geography Field Trip
Our 6th Year Geography students travelled to Creg Beach and Doolin on Thursday to carry out an investigation on coastal transportation and deposition. It was a cold day, but all data was collected for the write up over the next few weeks. A great day was had by all.
Active School Flag Launch Event
Our Tug of War interclass competition got under way this week. There are competitions between all year groups and we look forward to the finals in a few weeks. Well done to all involved.
Senior Camogie
Hard luck to our senior camogie team who travelled to Mallow for a game against Glanmire. Glanmire were the much stronger team and came out victorious on the day.
5th Year LCVP
Our 5th year LCVP students enjoyed a talk from Paul Flaherty from @whatsthescor this week. Thanks to Paul for sharing his insight and experience into being a young entrepreneur.
Eating out The Fast Food Way
Well done to our 5LCA class this week who held a coffee morning for staff and collected money for Milford Hospice. This was part of their module on Eating out the Fast Food Way and they displayed excellent cooking and hosting skills. Well done to all.
Sustainability
Our Transition Year students were busy this week presenting to 1st Year groups on Fast Fashion, highlighting the need for sustainable fashion and doing our bit for sustainability.
Shannon College of Hotel Management
Thank you to Emma Daly from Shannon College for a fantastic presentation to our senior students detailing the courses on offer with Shannon College of Hotel Management through NUIG. We were delighted to hear about all the opportunities they have to offer.
