Parents Association Table Quiz
Thanks to everyone who came out to support our Table Quiz. An enjoyable evening was had by all. A special word of thanks to Aidan and Pauline McIntyre who ran the quiz for us. The money raised will go towards counselling services in the school.
Trick or Treat for Temple Street
Congratulations to everyone who got involved in our annual Trick or Treat for Temple Street. A great effort was put in and we raised €807.70. Well done to all.
TY Future Leaders
Well done to our Future leaders transition year class who this week organised an event for the local primary schools. The TYs planned, organised, managed, coached and refereed at the event which was very enjoyable and successful. Thanks to the teachers and pupils of Ardcroney, Kilbarron, Kiladangan and Cloughjordan No.1 primary schools for coming along.
BT Young Scientist
Congratulations to our TY students whose project was selected to go forward for this years BT Young Scientist Competition. We look forward to seeing Darragh Egan and Cian Hayes’ project progress over the coming months.
Europe Evolving Erasmus Project
This week we hosted teachers and students from Lithuania, Spain, Germany and Norway. The groups experienced a whole host of activities and trips during the week. On Thursday evening an exhibition was held where students from each of the five partner schools displayed their work over the past two years.
Staff from Partner Schools in Spain, Norway, Lithuania, Germany and Borrisokane Community College attended the exhibition of work completed during the Erasmus Project – Europe Evolving in Borrisokane Community College recently. Also in attendance was Ms Bernadette Cullen CE Tipperary ETB and Clodagh Kelly Director of Schools Tipperary ETB.
