A group of 15 Borrisokane Community College students travelled to the Burren Outdoor Education Centre in Turlough. Co. Clare with their co-ordinating teacher ,Ms Deirdre Kyne and principal, Mr. Matthew Carr on Thursday 23rd of March to complete their Adventure Journey for their Bronze Gaisce Award. They completed the first leg of the 25km on Thursday along the coast to Flaggy Shore, Finavarra and Bell Harbour. On Friday they walked the remaining 10km in the heart of the Burren around Carran and Turlough. All the students thoroughly enjoyed their adventure journey and the good weather. Some are already planning for their Gaisce Silver Award. Well done to all involved.
