On Thursday 12th January eighty one 1st year students and a small representative group of TY students travelled with Ms Suzanne McMahon, Ms Jackie Hayes, Ms Laura Walshe and Ms Ann Ryan to visit the exhibition in the RDS and support Robert Guest, TY student under the guidance of Science teacher Ms Mary Brady, in his endeavours to do well at this year’s BT Young Scientist competition. The students enjoyed perusing the vast range of projects on display. Much learning took place through engagement and interaction with students and their varying science related projects. This is a very successful annual trip that encourages students to consider pursuing further studies and perhaps a career in the field of Science and Technology.
