We will have a 2nd & 5th Year Parent Student Teacher Meeting on Thursday Jan 26th from 16:15- 18:45. We encourage all students and parents to attend.
U15 Boys Soccer
Borrisokane CC came out on top of a thrilling Round 2 fixture with Thurles side Colaiste Mhuire Thurles with a 1-0 home win. It was Tommy Hutchinson with the decisive goal in a game where every player put in a great performance, but the Player of the Match was undoubtedly Ryan Donnelly. Well done and best of luck in the next round.
1st Year Boys Soccer
The Borrisokane Community College first year soccer team followed up their 2-1 away win against CBS Nenagh in November with their second win of the season against Colaiste Mhuire Thurles at the school on Monday. A well deserved 4-2 win, against a strong battling Thurles team, means that Borrisokane finish top of the group and have achieved home advantage in the knock out stages of the Munster Cup. The entire 1st year squad would like to thank the school for its very generous support of the team this year. The players would also like to dedicate the win to our injured team mate Dara Gaynor. Dara’s impressive performance in our first match against CBS Nenagh gave us the platform to go on to achieve qualification from the group.
